Small room with tiny balcony on first floor overlooking lively square. Great view from room, with the Moorish Alcazaba (Citadel) in the background. Access by lift as well as stairs. En suite bathroom, with everything in good working order (I liked both the small bath and bidet). Hot water available at all times. Comfortable double bed. Good facilities: small table and chair, bedside table, wardrobe (with plenty of hanging space), TV on wall, fridge and nice lights/lamps. Excellent wi-fi connectivity. Efficient heating (which was required, as it was Feb). Pleasant staff. Great location in the heart of the Zona Monumental, with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, as well as a very good and large supermarket Breakfast available at adjacent Meson Coso Viejo. Excellent value for money – only £31 per night, though not inclusive of breakfast, which is not served at the hotel. The room was cleaned every day.

Lovely historic property with really helpful multilingual reception staff and we were able to get secure parking (for a fee ) at the hotel. The room was basic but clean and comfortable- we were paying budget prices- suspect they may have better premium rooms but this was perfect for a one night stay right in the heart of the town. The secure onsite covered parking was a real bonus. A restaurant next door was good value- indeed everything in Antequera good value compared to the inflated tourist prices in other Spanish cities. On street parking would have been difficult.

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring all that Antequera has to offer and the court yard was lovely. The rooms are a decent size with everything you need but quite basic, but that is to be expected in an old property and went with the whole theme. Parking was available just across the street, but if there are no spaces, the hotel will provide parking at an additional cost. The restaurant next door looked nice, but we did not use that as there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

the location was terrific. in the heart of Antequera, on a square that has tourist information, the city museum, church, cafe, and. restaurant. it’s walking distance to the Moorish fortress if you don’t mind climbing a hill. It is a small older hotel with rooms around an inner courtyard. The room was simple, with a comfortable bed, spacious closet, nice, clean bathroom. Front desk staff were pleasant. There is secure parking adjacent to the hotel for €10 a day.
